The Mathsoc room is located in the School of Maths, down the corridor
from the School office. Having recently been renovated, it is now bigger and better than ever before and contains couches, two fireplaces and a chandelier, making it the perfect place to relax between lectures. Our library is also located there - any of our
members are free to borrow from it.
Intervarsities and IMSA
Mathsoc is responsible for training Trinity's team for the Irish
Mathematical Intervarsities. This is held each year in a different
university in Ireland, and the winning university goes on to compete
in the International Mathematics Competition for University Students.
We also attend the Irish Mathematical Students' Association Conference
each February.
