Treasurer of the CSC 2010/2011

You can see below what my responsibilities are, and
basically that all means that I, with Joe and Lucy,  look after
the finances of the CSC. In order to run a successful society you'll need funds, and that's where we come in!

A grant application can be made to CSC for all sorts of activities, and if you need any help or advice in filling this out please contact me, and the same goes for submitting the end of year accounts.
It's my job to make recommendations to the rest of the committee about a grant app, and then the decision is made by the full committee.

According to the CSC constitution the responsibilities of the Treasurer are as follows:

  (i)   All financial matters of the Committee .

  (ii)  The overseeing of society finances and ruling on the quality of society accounts.

  (iii)  Drawing up budgets in conjunction with the Honorary Treasurer and drafting a Grants Policy Document.

 (iv) All dealings with banks and other financial institutions in conjunction with the Honorary Treasurer.
