European Law Students Association (ELSA)

ELSA aims to establish lasting contacts amongst young lawyers and law students within ELSA Ireland through an educational and social association.

 It aims to encourage and facilitate direct contact and co-operation between persons involved in the field of law in different countries.

ELSA aims to promote the use of foreign legal exchange by expanding the knowledge of different legal questions and research in the member countries; the development of professional relations of an international character in the field of law, contribution to the exchange of scholarly experience and the stimulation of mutual understanding and friendship on the principle of equality of all of its members.

We hope to promote and develop understanding, co-operation and of personal contacts amongst law students and lawyers from different countries and legal systems by co-operation in the fields of education, jurisprudence and professional work of a legal nature.
