Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT)

The objects of the Society is to educate, inform and offer a supportive environment to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students and staff of the University of Dublin. Membership

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Society is a place for LGBT students and their friends to hang out, meet like-minded people and have fun in a comfortable environment. We hold regular events, often focusing on LGBT issues and usually ending in a night out. Joining the society is a great way to learn about LGBT life or just to make some new friends in college.

Our LGBT Soc Room is located on the second floor (Room 27) of House 6 (the one with the SU shop) and is usually open from 1 - 3 pm Tues - Fri. All members are welcome, so if you'd like some tea, coffee or just some conversation, make sure to drop in.

Also, our buddy programme is always operational throughout the year for any student who doesn’t feel like coming up to the society room on their own. Just let us know whether you would like a guy or girl to meet with you, and we can meet up with you, one to one, and chat about what Trinity LGBT do and how you can be a part of it.
