Literary Society

The Literary Society brings together aspiring writers of all kinds and caters to all those interested in literature.

Writing workshops, book clubs and open readings are as regular as guest speakers and readers; DBC Pierre, Patrick McCabe and Iain Banks being among those who have already visited.

The Literary Society publishes an annual literary journal, The Attic, containing the best of the society's creative writing.

Their annual Literary Festival, held in Hilary Term, is a week-long event that celebrates literature and creativity throughout campus.
