Booking Spaces for Society Events
The CSC offers a variety of spaces for students to hold events, meetings, and gatherings outside of their designated society rooms. Below are the options available and how to book them.
PLEASE NOTE: Junior Dean approval is necessary for any events/parties/receptions, excluding routine society events (such as meetings, coffee hours, library hours, rehearsals, classes, film nights, workshops etc). More information can be found on the Junior Dean website.
- Elizabeth Room in House 6: To book the Elizabeth Room, please email Emma at [email protected].
- Located on the first floor next to the CSC Office.
- Has a Projector and Small Kitchen.
- A reception can be held in this room once permission has been granted by the JD.
- Capacity 25 persons for a meeting/seated event and up to 40 persons for a standing reception.
- Atrium Shared Society Rooms (Rooms 2-4): Recognised societies can book these rooms through the following link: Atrium Room Bookings.
- Located on the side of the Atrium in the Catering/Buttery building.
- Open 10am to 9pm M-F during term.
- Room 3 has a projector and is suitable for films/talks/presentations.
- Alcohol is not permitted unless JD approval is granted.
- Capacity 25 persons per room.
- Zoom Room Bookings: For virtual meetings, book a Zoom room through this link: Zoom Room Bookings.
- CSC Zoom Room One and Two are Zoom Pro meeting accounts with capacities of 500 and 100 persons.
- CSC Zoom Room Three is a Webinar accounts with a capacity of 500 persons.
- General TCD Spaces (e.g., Lecture Halls, Regent Room): For inquiries about booking general spaces, please contact [email protected] outlining the event details, capacity, date, time and duration.
- Fill out the Booking Request Template and attach it to the email.
- You will also need to complete an Event Safety Management Plan.
- Spaces in college not managed by the CSC must be applied for at least 10 days in advance.
- These spaces include (but are not limited to):
- Lecture spaces in Arts Building, Hamilton, etc. (usually after 6pm only)
- Goldsmith Hall, Regent House, Exam Hall, etc. (usually after 6pm only)
- The Atrium Room 50 – First floor of the Atrium (Cap 50).
- The Main Atrium Space (Cap 100).

- Graduates Memorial Building (GMB): For the GMB, contact the Hist or Phil societies directly to inquire about booking space.
- Complete this form to book a space at least 10 days in advance.
- Email the Enquiries Office with confirmation of approval from the Hist Auditor and Phil President.
- Business School Spaces: To book a room in the Business School, please contact the Business School directly.
